Steven Grayhm, Charlie Bewley, and Matt Dallas have teamed up to make a film, THUNDER ROAD about war, the affects, and about PTSD. They explain it MUCH better than I ever could so be sure to check out their site HERE.
What I will say is... I think this film is very important. I love that they want to tell real stories. I love that they're trying to bring something as important as PTSD and it's affect on our soldiers to the forefront. I think it's something people often don't think about in our daily lives and probably should. I think it can help a lot of people and help those of us who don't have a lot of experience with PTSD, understand it. I respect the passion these three guys have for their project. They're traveling around the US (for the second time) speaking with soldiers and trying to raise awareness for PTSD and for their film.
Hope you'll check it out. Help spread the word or pledge if you can. I've backed them. They have some pretty incredible incentives too!
