Vegas signing

I'm tired but was too excited not to go ahead and type my Vegas post now.

I had a BLAST at the Naughty Mafia signing in Vegas this weekend.

I can't tell you everything because...you know, what happens in Vegas stays there... LOL, but I will give you the highlights.

Meeting readers. I LOVE meeting readers. Words can't express how much I love meeting readers. You guys make me happy, and a HUGE thanks to everyone that came out. You made the weekend truly amazing.

Seeing author friends. Yay, for seeing friends. I feel so lucky to know such awesome people and to be able to call you friends.

Road trip with my BFF. Enough said, right? There were laughs. There were drinks. And yeah, just a cool time ;).

Going to dinner with Amy Pierpont and Forever Romance authors. Really enjoyed meeting you guys and got a huge laugh when I accidentally stole Rachel Van Dyken's drink. She is super fun and it was great to see her again. (If you haven't read her latest, RUIN, check it out)

Meeting Karla from Goodreads. Thank you so much for stopping to say hi and for all you do. It was absolutely lovely to meet you. You are so sweet and kind. I am blessed with the most amazing readers.

And of course it wouldn't be Vegas without some craziness.

Saturday I witnessed two scuffles/fights being broken up from security just on the walk from the signing room to the elevator. Then once I hit the elevator there were some really stumbling, drunk men there. I waited for the next elevator before going up :)

Right after checking in we looked out the window to the pool below...where they were having a booty shaking contest that reminded me of MTV Spring Break (do they still do that on MTV or am I just old??).

Hm... that's about all I can think of right now. It's been a long weekend and I spent six hours in the car so I'm kind of out of it. If I forgot anything or anyone, it's due to my lack of sleep.

Thanks again everyone!

  1. Glad you had fun in Vegas and got to meet other writers face to face. Definitely a no no taking the elevator with drunk guys.
