Misc odds and ends

I feel like such a slacker because I haven't been posting as much lately. It seems like as soon as I feel like I'm getting caught up, a million things hit me. I'm not complaining because I love to be busy. I love what I do but when I'm gone for a while, I just want you guys to know where I am.

First, I want to share an incredible post written by Steph Campbell about perspective. I think everyone should read this post. It's honest and real and something we all need to be reminded of sometimes. I have smart friends :) You can see Steph's post HERE.

Second, I just wanted to remind you guys that MASQUERADE is on Netgalley and the release date is in just four weeks! I know it feels like forever still but time will fly by. Bee and Maddox will be on your Kindles, Nooks and iPads in no time. I hope you guys love their story. I always get so nervous on and around release day so I'll be freaking out for the next month. If you get a copy make sure to review! And it also helps if you add your review to the retailers once the book is on sale.

I've had a few people ask me about upcoming projects besides the three scheduled releases that I have. The answer is that I don't have an answer to that yet. I know that sucks and it's kind of a non-answer but that's all I have for you. Hopefully that will change soon because you guys know me. I always have stories running wild in my head and that's not about to stop any time soon :) I feel so lucky to be doing what I'm doing and that won't stop.

I want to put something else out there real quick too. I've had a few people who mentioned SEARCHING FOR BEAUTIFUL and thinking it's a NA book. I try to keep things separated on my site between NA and YA but I know everyone doesn't visit here. An FYI though, SEARCHING FOR BEAUTIFUL is a YA story. I don't want you to go into expecting something that it's not. That being said, I love the story. It's close to my heart because this is the story I wrote for my girls. For all girls, really. It's something I wish I would have read when I was sixteen.

That's all I have for you now. I'm heading back into reading MASQUERADE for the last time before it's in your hands.

*cue Nyrae's nerves again*

  1. It's so funny, I'm ready to comment and then I'm like - I'll just "like" this b/c I'm lazy. Only I'm also tired b/c there's no like button on blogger... Must need sleep lol.

  2. You've been so crazy busy pumping books out the last couple of years. I don't think you need to worry about what the next one will be for a while. Take a little break and relax until you figure out what you want to write. And enjoy the success you've already had!

  3. Busy is never bad unless it's being busy doing something you hate. I got rejected for netgalley Masquerade but I can get it when it comes on the kindle in January. Glad you are doing well and we know you're doing other things when not blogging so I can say I understand.
