Seattle signing

I went to Seattle this weekend for the Emerald City Author Event and it was a blast! First, Seattle itself is just an awesome city. It's the first time I've gone and I loved it. I think it's my second favorite city that I've been to so far, next to San Francisco. I went with Julie Prestsater, and a group of friends. I love girl's weekends like that. We were silly, goofy, and did a lot of exploring.

Saturday was the signing and I can't even tell you guys how great it was. The whole thing ran so smoothly. The assistant at my table was awesome. The authors were great and the readers, gah, I love meeting readers. The passion you guys show for books is always so inspiring to me. It's like a reboot, even when you don't know you need one. I ride your high and it makes me even more excited about writing stories to share with you. I love chatting with you all and it still shocks me that people actually want to buy my books and have me sign them :) So thanks for that. It was so cool seeing so many of you with copies of these stories that mean the world to me (and RUSH! There were so many copies of Rush!). I can't even express how much it means to me.

Thanks again and be sure to check out my appearances page for more signings this year!
