*It's diverse. We have characters of different nationalities and sexual orientations...you know, like real life :)
*Ryder's relationship with his brother. It's a fragile one but I really love it. I've always wanted to write a book where I get to really explore a relationship with two brothers.
*The friendships. There is no backstabbing. No friends who ditch each other. No, the relationships aren't perfect because let's face it, none are, but both Ryder's group of friends and Virginia's group of friends are good people. And they love Ryder and Virginia.
*In a roundabout way the book has a little to do with writers like Virginia Woolf, Sylvia Plath, and Ernest Hemingway.
*Virginia because of her strength and her convictions, even if she doesn't always make the right choice or know what to do.
*Ryder for his journey because sometimes things just aren't what they seem, and loyalty isn't always a good thing.
*Ryder and Virginia together because love is a beautiful thing and they make my heart race and a smile spread across my face. Too many people don't see the beauty in that feeling.
There are so many more things that I can't share because they would be much too spoilery. I am having fun with my people though and I hope one day you will love them just as much. I want to be with them all the time and that's not something that always happens.
What are you head over heels in love with right now? A book? Song? Person?
